This 5 day course is for any person who is involved in the planning and running of a contract from the Contracts manager and Site Agent through to the Management Trainee


To provide a course that will assist in management and personnel to develop an understanding of their responsibilities and accountability for site safety, health and welfare and to recognise that a safe site is efficient, economic and productive. Bring course members up to date with current legislation and standards affecting the management and organisation of construction sites. Guide, assist and encourage course members to develop their knowledge and skills, beyond the existing course content

  • Introduction to Law – The Health & Safety at Work Etc. Act 1974. Management of Health & Safety at Work
  • Aim & Objectives of the Construction Health and Safety at Work Regulations
  • Working At Heights
  • Overhead & Underground Services Lifting Operations
  • Working with Asbestos Site Signage
  • Control of Substances Hazardous to Health
  • Control of Noise at Work
